To the family and friends of the person who killed my son,<\/p>\n

Do not mistake this for an attempt at understanding or peace. This is about truth\u2014plain and unfiltered.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My son is gone because someone you love chose anger over humanity. In one moment, they decided their rage mattered more than a human life\u2014and my son paid for that decision with everything.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You may still get to stand beside them, speak to them, support them, and call them by name. We don\u2019t. We were left with ashes, memories, and a lifetime of silence where my son\u2019s life used to be.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So before you offer excuses, before you try to soften what happened, or before you convince yourselves this was anything less than what it is\u2014stop.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This was not just \u201croad rage.\u201d This was a life taken. A future erased. A family permanently broken.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And every time you defend them, minimize it, or avoid calling it what it truly is, you are part of the problem and choosing comfort over truth.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We don\u2019t have that option.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Imagine for just a moment if someone did this to your dad, mom, brother sister or your own child.<\/p>\n

Imagine the hurt, anger, sadness and sense of loss you would feel.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is now my life every single day<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We live every day with what they did. Every holiday, every birthday, every quiet moment is a reminder that my son should still be here\u2014and he isn\u2019t because of a choice that can never be undone.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So don\u2019t look away from it. Don\u2019t dress it up. Don\u2019t pretend time will make this easier or somehow balance the scales.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nothing will.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My son mattered. His life had meaning. And what was taken from him\u2014and from us\u2014deserves to be faced with honesty, not excuses.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We will carry his name forward. We will demand accountability. And we will never allow what happened to be minimized or forgotten.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Whether you are ready to face that or not does not change the truth.<\/p>\n
